This is a unique corporate level position and opportunity to join New Mexico's fastest growing and largest Great Clips franchise group and salon operator as General Manager. This is an Albuquerque based position that would require visiting our salons statewide. You must have a valid cosmetology license to be eligible for consideration.

We are looking for a General Manager who will oversee operations of our portfolio of 15 Great Clips salons. This ideal candidate will also carry a cosmetology license and be able to work at the salon level as a hair stylist on an on-call basis when needed.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Work with salon managers and stylists on goals and objectives (you will be the direct report for all managers).
• Conduct daily site visits to each location to ensure we are maintaining brand standards.
• Recruiting stylists by conducting school visits and networking with instructors.
• Maintaining a stylist database and networking in the community to recruit the best talent.
• Managing hiring ads on Indeed, Craigslist, Facebook and other platforms.
• Calling and screening applicants and conducting interviews.
• Onboarding new stylists (new hire paperwork, benefits enrollment, etc).
• Conducting in salon training for new stylists.
• Conducting monthly haircutting and trend classes.
• Assisting in the training and development of stylists.
• Managing our social media accounts and posting content daily.
• Creating weekly schedules for all salons and assisting with shift coverage when needed.
• Assisting managers in completing salon level administrative tasks.
• Filling in as acting salon manager when required.

Salary:

This position comes with an extremely lucrative compensation package and will consist of a base salary in addition to a bonus plan as well as full benefits.

Requirements:

• Valid New Mexico Cosmetology License
• Willing to work a flexible schedule on an on-call basis if needed.
